Custom Wilson Tactical FB Prototype

A couple of months ago, I contacted Ryan Wilson at WilsonTactical.com and asked him if he would make a custom knife for our department.  I sent a sketch of the knife to him and I received a prototype of it in the mail yesterday.

It is basically a Cop Tool with a 2 3/4" tanto blade.  It is made of D2 steel and is 3/16" thick.  It is wrapped with brown paracord and has a IWB kydex sheath.

Overall I am very happy with the design, but I am going to make a few changes for the main run.  The laser etched logo turned out horrible.  I would like to see a cleaner logo that has been scaled down properly.  I am going to have the thumb divot changed to the same divot found on the production Cop Tool.  The thumb serration on top of the blade needs to be moved closer to the handle.  I am going to have Strider Knife style serration put on rather than the serrated look that this currently has.  The lanyard hole I want changed to an O2 wrench.

I am looking forward to showing this off and putting it to use.
